The Cotton Ceiling debacle is how I ended up on tumblr, too. What’s up with these dudes? They act like they should be able to be as rapey, abusive, mean and creepy as they like and, what? Women are just supposed to take it? Nope. Not gonna happen.

1) Stop erasing women of color from feminism. White feminists can certainly behave in racist ways like all white people and have the power to marginalize non white feminists, but feminism isn’t some monolith where extremely privileged women were running the whole damn show. It’s not like a lot of you people care about WOC anyway since you’re ready to turn on us when we don’t properly submit to you. We’re just a tool for you to use for the sake of your own agenda.
2) Apparently “black” and “feminist” are mutually exclusive groups, since it’s not like the title is “white feminism.” Is that supposed to be inferred? Because otherwise talking about feminists believing black people are more misogynistic erases black feminists.
3) The sexual autonomy bit is confusing. Are you saying feminists are taking away from it when they critique practices that eroticize domination like BDSM which perpetuates the patriarchal model of dominance/submission? Or compulsory PIV, which is harmful to women? Those critiques aren’t taking away from anyone’s sexual autonomy. That seems to be something you trans are interested in jeopardizing though — remember the cotton ceiling?
4) If anything “101 ways to hate trans women” would make more sense on the parody cover of a radical feminist magazine. It seems strange that you’re so interested in crapping on feminism as a whole considering liberal feminists worship you, and will throw non compliant females under the bus for the sake of you trans women. It’s not like being a radfem means actively hating you by the way. It’s just that your issues related to you being born and socialized as male aren’t important to feminism, and certainly not something feminism should be re-centered around. The point of feminism should be liberation of FAB from people of your sex. I know this hurts your (usually white) male egos, but it’s the truth.
Finally someone says what we’ve all been thinking. Liberal feminists worship at your altar, trans women. Then you go and verbally abuse them any way. Then they verbally abuse radical feminists for the slightest of dissent; they will willingly throw us under the bus for you lot. And you know what? Feminism owes you nothing. Especially radical feminism. If you have a problem with that, start your own fucking movement. We don’t want your whines.
Come out as trans, and you will never have to be nice to anyone EVER AGAIN. The struggles of other human beings are simply a cudgel for you to use as you see fit, because you are THE MOST OPPRESSED PEOPLE EVER, and rules of respect simply don’t apply to you. What does a woman’s sex life have ANYTHING to do with being a radical feminist?
